Overview
You can’t serve just one page of a WordPress site on a subdomain while keeping the rest of the site on the primary domain. WordPress assigns the entire installation to a single domain or subdomain.
Technical Explanation
- A single WordPress installation uses one domain or subdomain.
- Individual pages cannot have different domains/subdomains within the same installation.
Practical Alternatives
1) Create a Separate WordPress Installation (Recommended)
How it works
- WPCloud sets up a fresh WordPress install on your chosen subdomain (e.g.,
landing.mydomain.com). - You copy or rebuild the target page in that new install.

- Open a support ticket and specify the subdomain: “Please set up a new WordPress installation at

2) Use a Page-Specific Redirect
How it works
- WPCloud points your subdomain to the page on your main site via a redirect.
Example
- Redirect
landing.domain.com→domain.com/landing-page
To request
- Open a ticket with:
- Desired subdomain
- Target page URL
landing.mydomain.comtomydomain.com/landing-page.”
